Registering Athletes on Athletic.net

You may enter an athlete in up to 4 individual events.

You may register up to 4 athletes in an event.

You do not need to put in individual names for relays on athletic.net when registering but you may if you wish.

Relay participants are not set until the relay card is handed in at check in for the event.

An athlete does not become a participant in an event unless they check in.

An athlete may scratch an individual event and participate in a relay instead.

An athlete may NOT run under someone else's name.

Example:

Fred Smith is signed up through athletic.net for the region meet in 4 individual events: 100, 200, high jump, and shot put.

OK:  Fred does not check in for the 100 and the coach puts him on the relay card for the 4x100 which he runs.

NOT OK:  Fred checks in for the 100 but then does not run.  The coach adds him to the 4x100 relay card which he runs. He also competes in the 200, high jump, and shot put.

OK:  Fred Smith runs the 100, 4x100, 200, and then high jumps.  He does not check in for the shot put.
